rOSS DUNBAR

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CHAIR - BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ross is a global supply chain leader with more than 25 years of experience in the medical device, biopharmaceutical, electronic and industrial / off-road recreational vehicle segments.  In addition to being the former Director of Supply Chain at Arctic Cat he also held supply chain positions at Boston Scientific and Advanced Technology Materials, Inc. Ross also was in business development for Honeywell Electronic Materials, a Vice President of Business Development for Precision Diversified Industries and a Sr. Consultant for Andersen Consulting.  Ross earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Luther College, a Mini MBA in Industrial Engineering at St. Thomas University and a Executive Supply Chain Management certification from University of Wisconsin, Madison.  Ross has been certified in Lean Six Sigma, GMP/ISO and Project Management methodology.

Dr. JAMES DUTTON, PhD

VICE CHAIR - BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

James Dutton PhD leads a research team at the Stem Cell Institute at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Dutton was born near Southampton in the UK and earned a BSc and PhD in Microbiology at the Cardiff University, Wales. After postdoctoral training at the University of Idaho he returned to the UK and conducted developmental biology research for ten years at the University of Bath. In 2007 he came to the University of Minnesota Stem Cell Institute where his research group investigates the use of cell reprogramming technology to study and treat diseases that have no current treatments. Dr Dutton also directs the Core Facility for Stem Cell Reprogramming and Translation and the iPSC Automation Facility. He lives with his family in Hudson, Wi.

MICHAEL OKERLUND

GENERAL COUNSEL, SECRETARY - BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Michael is a partner at the law firm of Hansen Reynolds LLC.  As an attorney, Michael has represented numerous high-tech companies and startups from around the world in the medical device, aerospace, electronics, software/hardware, vehicle and financial services fields.  Michael previously served as the Vice President – Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Arctic Cat Inc. (now Textron); as the General Counsel of Hysitron (now Bruker Corp.), a nanotechnology company and world leader in materials science and microscopy; and as an Intellectual Property litigator at a national law firm.  Michael is a graduate of St. Olaf College and earned his JD with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law.
